Service with a smile is definetely lacking in this otherwise excellent hotel. It must be family run because during our four night stay we met with the same four gloomy faces. Nobody wears identification tugs, so I cannot call by her actual name, the young female who every morning stands at the centre of the breakfast room, on guard, to make sure that nobody takes any food outside. I fully agree with such a policy, but I believe that warning the patrons is enough, no need for such obvious supervision. Once, she was quite impolite to slam at the door of the food tray when it was inadvertently left uncovered. She needs some good polish of her manners.

Very noise. Every night we had near by hotel two (!) music bands which were singing very loud. We couldn't sleep.

Access to Lake tours and restaurants in Old Town

This place is well-maintained with a balcony, perfect for a holiday, and is in an incredible location close to everything, including a Shuttle Bus to Malpensa Airport.

The hotels location is perfect for walking along the promonade and for catching the ferrys to the islands etc.

Firstly the young gentleman at reception is rude and rather arrogant. The external photographs of the hotel you see on the internet are very misleading and very dissapointing. This hotel is ugly and a big let down compaired to the rest along the waterfront. It definately is 'poor' inside and out. It desperately needs a facelift inside and out. I wold not stay here again. Everything is old and needs replacing. You definately dont pay for what you get.

Location is the best in Stresa! Can not be better!

Oilcloth under the linen on the bed. And a cocroach was seen in the bathroom - it was not very pleasant. But I am sure both these unpleasant things could be easily fixed!

First of all, let me start by saying that I had a great experience at this hotel. The location was absolutely stunning, with beautiful views over the lake from my room's balcony. It was also conveniently situated in the city centre, making it easy to explore and enjoy the local shops, restaurants, and attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms were spacious and had the basic amenities I needed, including air conditioning for those hot summer days. The breakfast provided a vast choice of cold buffet options, allowing me to start my day off right.

All in all, my stay was fantastic and I don't have any complaints.

Its a 3 star hotel and It closed at 1am. There should have been a night conseirge

Nice for the money required

The location of this hotel is perfect - right in the heart of the city centre and directly across from the ferry terminal. This makes it incredibly convenient for exploring the area and taking trips on the lake. Plus, there are plenty of shops and restaurants within easy walking distance.

Everything was alright during my stay at this hotel.

Hotel was ideally situated for Lake Maggoire boat excursions. Room was very clean, staff excellent, breakfast simple but good.
